Hi Karen. Glad to see you'll be making it to this party. It's gonna be great. I know you had concerns about the noise level... it's primarily a concern during the networking portion, but when the speaker gets up to talk, I am the OFFICIAL BOUNCER and keep everyone SHUSHED for the duration of the talk & Q&A session. Hey karen, sorry you can't make it but I'm glad you joined the group. I noticed you said you were ambivalent about the topic of the meeting. As of now, the plan is always to listen to audio recordings of allan watts lectures as a focal point for discussions. What type of topic that is more interesting do you have in mind?

Right now we're going to meet at me and my wife's house in north Austin. I would choose a public venue, but I want our meetings to center around listening to Allan Watts audio recordings and I don't think a coffee shop would work for that.
